ONLINE REPORT: SPORTS FAN RADIO LOOKS TO "NEW MEDIA"

     SportsFan Radio Network, now an official subsidiary of
WinStar Communications, has announced its sports information site
on the Web, called SportsFan On-Line.  The site is scheduled to
launch in September '96, in conjunction with the start of the NFL
season.  SportsFan has become a division of WinStar New Media,
which is committed to developing "proprietary content and
services" for broadcast and interactive mediums.  SportsFan On-
Line will offer the network's radio programming, as well as news
and info from its own editorial and creative staff (SportsFan On-
Line).
     NEWS & NOTES:  BASEBALL AMERICA debuted its Web site at
http://www.baseball-online.com (BASEBALL AMERICA, 6/9
issue)....S.F.-based KRON-TV's Web site, http://www.kron. com,
now offers "A's Live Link" -- providing "animated play-by-play
updates" of games in progress (INSIDE MEDIA, 5/16).
