CHEAP SEATS? RAVENS BANKING ON LOW-END PSLs

On Thursday, the Ravens will announce a PSL price structure
that is the lowest in the NFL, according to Vito Stellino of the
Baltimore SUN. Instead of attempting to raise $80M in PSL sales
as previously planned, the team will now try to raise slightly
less than $70M. In addition, fans will have three years to pay
for their PSLs interest free and can get bank financing if they
want payments spread over a longer term. Team officials say that
the move from Cleveland cost the Ravens $125M -- half of which
will be financed through PSL sales, the other half by the team.
David Modell, the son of Owner Art Modell and the team's campaign
director, plans to buy four PSLs himself: "I want to actually
own a piece of returning football to Baltimore. That's cool"
(Baltimore SUN, 5/12).
