     The Twins have sold 52,901 more tickets this year than for
the first 13 games of last season (Minneapolis STAR-TRIBUNE,
4/26)....Hugo Powell, COO of Interbrew's North American division,
said the company is likely to conclude the sale of the Blue Jays
and SkyDome within the next three months (Toronto GLOBE AND MAIL,
4/26)....84% of Clevelanders said they would not follow the
Ravens this season according to a Browns News/Illustrated poll
(THE SPORTING NEWS, 4/29)....The official attendance at Gund
Arena for the Cavaliers-Knicks playoff opener was 16,419, 4,100
seats short of a sellout (Mult., 4/26)....Matt Guokas met with
76ers President Pat Croce on the possibility of Guokas taking
over the Sixers GM job (PHIL. DAILY NEWS, 4/26).... Through
Thursday, 13,000 tickets have been sold for the Spurs playoff
game in the 35,888-seat Alamodome, 6,518 short of the Spurs
regular season average.  The game is available on pay-per-view
(ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 4/26).
