     More on the FoxTrax enhanced puck system: The puck will also
be visible along the boards, with an X-ray effect that allows for
the appearance of a simulated puck as opposed to just an empty
glow (CP/MONTREAL GAZETTE, 3/29)....Nielsen Media Research will
implement an increase of diary samples in all 211 of its metered
markets, intending to raise the number of samples by 50% over the
next two broadcast years.  The increase will begin in May
(Nielsen Media Research). ...Ascent Entertainment Group, owners
of the Avalanche and Nuggets, announced that the two clubs'
possible playoff home games will be available via pay-per-view in
the Denver area (GOULD MEDIA, 3/29)....CBS President & CEO Peter
Lund denied published reports that the network will not pursue an
all-news channel (AD AGE ONLINE, 3/29)....In O.J. Simpson
attorney Robert Shapiro's new book, he writes that NBC West Coast
head Don Ohlmeyer offered to pay a special $30,000 a month fee to
enable Simpson to have a more comfortable cell during his trial.
Simpson reportedly declined (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 3/28)....Twins
rights-holder WCCO-AM may have to use replacement announcers for
Monday's Twins opener.  The American Federation of TV and Radio
Artists is threatening to strike if they cannot reach an
agreement with the station by Sunday night (Minneapolis STAR-
TRIBUNE, 3/29).
