FX ADDS COLLEGE FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL TO SPORTS LINEUP

     Beginning in September, fX will break into college sports,
airing NCAA Div. I college football on Saturday nights. The
network will add Div. I college basketball in January to be aired
on Thursdays.  Football games will be selected from conferences
including the Pac-10, Big 12, Conference USA and selected Army
and Navy games.  The network will begins its coverage of the WLAF
April 12 with a kickoff special (fX).  Fox/Liberty already has
rights to Pac-10 basketball which is currently aired on Prime
Sports' regional networks.  fX and Liberty will work to determine
a schedule for both networks (THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 3/29).
     FINANCES: Liberty Media Group, which represents programming
assets of TCI, reported a net loss of $56.3M, or $.16 a share, in
'95, compared to a net loss of $134.6M in '94.  Revenues rose
3.8% (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 3/29).
