     The Celtics will produce and distribute a new team
publication, "Celtics Monthly."  Beginning this month, the
newsletter will be issued monthly during the regular NBA season
and bimonthly during the offseason. It will be produced by DML
Associates (Celtics)....Yankees manager Joe Torre's scheduled
chat on Prodigy on Monday was postponed when Owner George
Steinbrenner reportedly decided to hold an intrasquad game to
test the lights in their new stadium in Tampa (N.Y. DAILY NEWS,
2/28).....ESPNet SportsZone tomorrow will premiere a live
scoreboard ticker that can be pulled off its Web page and placed
on a user's screen.  Ads will appear on the top of the windows
(USA TODAY, 2/28)....N.Y. POST columnist Phil Mushnick takes on
the "mixed messages" from ESPN in a piece called "ESPN Scrambles
Its Signal: Network Can't Tell Right From Wrong" (N.Y. POST,
2/28).... Orioles spokesman Bill Stetka said representatives of
Dorna USA met with team officials this week on installing the
AdTime signage system in Baltimore.  Stetka said the team has no
plans at the present time to bring rotating signs to Camden Yards
(Baltimore SUN, 2/28)....James Kinsella is "out" as Editor of
Time Inc.'s Pathfinder Web site.  Although the site is "one of
the more high-profile Web sites, the 1 1/2 year-old operation is
still operating in the red."  A spokesperson said the move was
not part of wider cutbacks (AD AGE ONLINE, 2/28)....The Penguins
note their games on ESPN and Fox have delivered the highest
ratings to date on both networks.  The Penguins-Rangers game on
ESPN was the cable network's highest rated game of the season
with 1.3 rating.  The Penguins-Flyers January 27 game had a
season high 9.4 rating on Fox (Penguins).
