STOCKHOLM INTERESTED IN 2004 GAMES

     The City of Stockholm is seeking to host the Summer Olympics
in 2004.  A 3/4 majority support the candidacy and preparations
have already begun with "heavy investments" in arenas and
training facilities in the current City Budget.  The Olympic
Village will reportedly be constructed in the middle of the City
of Stockholm as an Eco Village (AP/ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 10/17).
