Penguins, has named STEPHEN RYAN as its President & CEO (N.Y.
TIMES, 7/29)....The AHL Adirondack Red Wings have hired ED KRAYER
as Dir of Business Ops.  He was formerly Asst. GM for the AHL
Worcester IceCats (Red Wings).... PATRICK MCLEAN has been named
Dir of Merchandising for the St. Louis Rams (ST. LOUIS POST-
DISPATCH, 7/31)....NFL Players has named PAM ADOLPH, CLAY WALKER,
DEBBIE ABEL and HOWARD SKALL to manage its player group licensing
programs (AD AGE ONLINE, 7/28).....STEVE SAMPSON will be named
full-time coach of the U.S. Soccer team (USA TODAY, 7/31).
