     Canucks Co-Owner BRUCE MCCAW was interviewed in the
VANCOUVER SUN.  McCaw, who is based in Seattle: "I would never
own a professional sports team in my own town.  The fans, the
press, they want to micro-manage it.  We're in a wonderful
situation" (VANCOUVER SUN, 7/29)....Bullets President SUSAN
O'MALLEY was profiled on "NBA Inside Stuff."  O'Malley: "I don't
want the job of being in charge of the Lakers, and I don't want
to be in charge of the Celtics.  I'd want to be in charge of the
Lakers or Celtics only if they were at the level the Bullets were
at when I started here" ("NBA Inside Stuff," NBC, 7/29)....ABC's
Dick Schaap noted that after her match against MARTINA
NAVRATILOVA, MONICA SELES "rushed to kiss, not her parents, but
her agent," IMG Chair MARK MCCORMACK (ABC, 7/29).
