AAC Shuffles Football Schedule To Make Up USF-UConn Game

The AAC has "juggled its football schedule to make up" a USF-UConn game that was "cancelled as a result of Hurricane Irma." As a result of the game moving to Nov. 4, "three other AAC teams also had to be moved to accommodate" the change. UConn AD David Benedict said that "not playing USF would have meant the loss of about $650,000 in gross revenue." The conference is "still trying to reschedule a cancelled game between Memphis and UCF." UMass, whose nonconference tilt with USF was nixed in the reshuffling, has agreed to play at FIU on Dec. 2 to "make up for the lost game" (AP, 9/14).
