Fox Sticking With Same Booth For '18 NASCAR Cup Series Season

Fox Sports will bring back the same booth to call Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races in '18, the network told THE DAILY. Fox had given no specific indication that it was changing its lineup, but sources said the net was initially interested in signing Dale Earnhardt Jr. to an on-air deal, a sign that there could have been change coming. However, NBC wound up signing Earnhardt, and Fox now says there is no plan to change the current three-man booth, which features play-by-play man Mike Joy and analysts Darrell Waltrip and Jeff Gordon.
