Seahawks Spreading Color Rush Theme Throughout CenturyLink Field

The Seahawks are bringing back their bright green jerseys for tonight's home game against the Rams as part of Nike's Color Rush program. In addition, CenturyLink Field "will be soaked in green, from the lights in the rafters to the end zones on the field." The team's cheerleaders and mascots "will follow in the players’ leads, ditching their traditional blue garb for the 'action green' variety." Fans "will help wash the stadium in green, too, with rally towels that will be handed out at each entrance." The team has not worn bright green uniforms since '09 (SEATTLE TIMES, 12/15).
