WWE Taking Survivor Series To Houston For Four-Event Weekend

WWE today announced that Houston's Toyota Center will host the 30th anniversary edition of the WWE Survivor Series on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017. As part of the Survivor Series Weekend, WWE will host four consecutive nights of events at the arena, including NXT TakeOver on Nov. 18, "Monday Night Raw" on Nov. 20 and "SmackDown Live" Nov. 21 (WWE).

The move is part of a "new business model" around WWE's four annual major PPV events. The TakeOver, "Raw" and "SmackDown" events also will bookend WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, SummerSlam in Brooklyn and a "yet-to-be-named location for Royal Rumble" in January '18 (ESPN.com, 11/17).
