NHL's Renzulli Stepping Down; Sources Say Will Join Hospitality Firm

NHL Exec VP/Events Don Renzulli turned in his resignation yesterday. Renzulli has been with the NHL since '07. Multiple sources indicated he was leaving to work with former NHL COO John Collins, who left the league in November to become CEO of On Location Experiences, a hospitality company owned by Bruin Sports Capital and RedBird Capital Partners. Renzulli worked with Collins at the NFL, the Browns and the NHL. It could not immediately be learned when the resignation will be effective.

Renzulli’s prior jobs include NFL Senior Dir of Events from '93-'05 and Browns VP/Stadium & Event Operations from '05-07. Collins did not return a voice mail and an email message.
