Wild Add Videoboards As Part Of Xcel Energy Center Upgrades

The Wild have made several upgrades to Xcel Energy Center ahead of tonight's home playoff game against the Blues, including two "massive" new videoboards with three more to be installed during the playoffs. The biggest videoboards are "equivalent to nine 55-inch TVs combined." One near Gate 1 is operational, while a second in the 200 level "may not have content until Wednesday." Boards also will be installed "in the main lobby and near the food court." The Wild replaced "about 500 TVs and concession menu boards in the arena's concourses" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 4/20).
