France Again Owns Five Star Athlete Management After Pegula Divests

NFL player agent Todd France today confirmed that he once again owns 100% of Five Star Athlete Management after prospective Bills Owner Terry Pegula divested his interest in the firm as part of his deal to acquire the team. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Pegula had acquired France’s firm, which represents about 50 NFL players, in '11. NFL rules prohibit owners from owning NFL player representation firms.

France said, “Like I said back in 2011, it was a huge honor to be handpicked by Terry and Kim to acquire my agency. Being involved with such great people was an amazing experience. I couldn't be happier for them as they work toward finalizing becoming the next owners of the Buffalo Bills.” France said there would be “no changes to our existing team of agents and staff” as a result of the transaction.
