Colorado To Unveil Premium Seating, Video From "South Park" Creators

Colorado for its football home opener Saturday night against Arizona State will unveil "three levels of new premium seating at Folsom Field," marking the "first completed noticeable changes" of CU's ongoing $156M athletic facilities upgrade. CU AD Rick George hopes that the project "will be completed" by the start of the '15 football season (DENVER POST, 9/12).

About 10 minutes before kickoff, CU will unveil a "special contribution" from "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker on the stadium video boards. The school is "encouraging fans to get to the stadium early to see the debut" of the video. SID Dave Plati said that an "agreement is in place for CU to use material at home football games throughout this season and a portion of it also will be used during basketball games." Stone and Parker are CU film school alums (BUFFZONE.com, 9/10).
