Soccer United Marketing and the Mexican Soccer Federation (FMF) today announced that Mexico's men's national team will face Chile on Saturday, Sept. 6, in the first-ever int'l soccer match at Levi’s Stadium. Mexico also will play Bolivia on Sept. 9 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (SUM).

Organizers of the Guinness Int'l Champions Cup said that ticket sales for tonight's match at FedExField between EPL club Manchester United and Serie A club Inter Milan "are approaching 50,000" (WASHINGTON POST, 7/29).

The Univ. of Northern Iowa and Learfield Sports today announced KBGG-AM as the new radio home in Des Moines for the school’s football and men’s basketball teams and KGCW-Fox as the new TV partner in Davenport for football during the '14-15 season (Learfield Sports).

The Hurricanes have selected Massey Consulting to implement its cloud-based Intacct Financial Accounting system. The team will use Intacct to track financials for the franchise as well as home games and other events at PNC Arena (Hurricanes).

Ferris State Univ.'s men's hockey program has signed a four-year equipment supply deal with Bauer Hockey that includes skates, helmets, visors, sticks, gloves and pants (Bauer Hockey).

The Cubs today said that online bidding for “50 pairs of specially-illustrated Wrigley Field seats” will end Aug. 10. Each pair “depicts an iconic scene or moment from the ballpark’s 100-year history” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/29).
