Tudor Will Have Heavy Presence At Weekend Races In Long Beach

Watch brand Tudor is activating around this weekend's races in Long Beach, Calif., with a variety of hospitality and sponsorship initiatives. Tudor is the title sponsor of IMSA's United SportsCar Championship, which on Saturday hosts its third race of the season and the first of six consecutive races that will air live on FS1. The Tudor Paddock Club will provide a B2B space for IMSA partners and select VIP guests. Tudor also is sponsoring Sunday's Verizon IndyCar Series Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach as the Official Timepiece. It will entitle hospitality suites, including the Tudor Pit Row Suites and Tudor Pit Lane Club.

Meanwhile, United SportsCar team Wayne Taylor Racing has signed Konica Minolta Business Solutions as the primary sponsor of its No. 10 Chevrolet Corvette. Terms of the deal were not available. Konica Minolta will be featured on the No. 10 Corvette in this weekend’s United SportsCar race in Long Beach. The company, which specializes in IT management, printers and software, also sponsors several MLB teams (Red Sox and Dodgers), NBA teams (Rockets and Grizzlies) and NHL teams (Kings and Penguins). Wayne Taylor Racing’s other sponsors include Velocity Worldwide, General Motors, Dallara Automobili, Siemens PLM Software, Titanium Metal Supply, and OMP America (Tripp Mickle, Staff Writer).

About 175,000 people are expected to attend the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, "with a crowd of 8,000 expected" at the Saturday night Rock-N-Roar concert headlined by Paul Rodgers (Long Beach PRESS-TELEGRAM, 4/7).
