NFL Could Increase Number Of London Games To Four By '15

The potential of the NFL adding a fourth London game in '15 reportedly will be "discussed, but not voted on" at the owners meetings this week in Orlando. The league will stage three games in the U.K. in '14 (TWITTER.com, 3/24).

If the NFL's slate of London games does increase to four, the league "may put a game in a venue other than Wembley Stadium, which has hosted all of the NFL’s London games so far." Owners "believe there’s plenty of room for growing the game overseas, and so far they’ve been pleased with the results." Another "potentially lucrative option" for the NFL would be using London to create a package of games that will air on Sunday morning in the U.S. and be "sold separately to the league’s TV partners" (PROFOOTBALLTALK.com, 3/24).
