The AHL Hamilton Bulldogs today announced a three-year lease agreement with Global Spectrum to remain the primary tenant at Copps Coliseum (Bulldogs).

Construction vehicle manufacturer SANY America has agreed to serve as the primary sponsor for Tommy Baldwin Racing's No. 7 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chevrolet driven by Dave Blaney for 14 races this season (Tommy Baldwin Racing).

Saturday's Butler-VCU men's basketball game at Richmond's Siegel Center is sold out, making it "one of the hottest tickets ever in town" (RICHMOND TIMES-DISPATCH, 2/28). Tickets for sale on StubHub.com ranged from $69 for standing room only to $225 (THE DAILY).

The ACC during its spring meetings in May is "expected to discuss the safety of court storming and whether an SEC-like penalty structure is warranted." The SEC adopted a progressive penalty system in '04 (ESPN.com, 3/1).
