The USOC today held a grand opening ceremony for its Team USA Shop at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. The store becomes the second retail location for Team USA Shop, joining the one at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs (USOC).

The Hambletonian Society has reached a one-year deal for CBS Sports Network to televise the Aug. 4 Hambletonian, "the richest race for 3-year-old trotters." NBC had "televised the race for the past five years" and CBS previously aired the race live from '93-'06 (AP, 6/13).

PenFed today announced that it has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the "We Salute Our Heroes" wall at the '12 PGA Tour AT&T National at Congressional Country Club. The wall allows fans to post messages of thanks and support for the U.S. military (PenFed).

Fuse Science today announced that it has added skateboarder Paul Rodriguez to its roster of endorsers, which includes Tiger Woods, David Ortiz, Arian Foster and Ronde Barber (Fuse Science).
