Twitterverse Reacts To Amount Of NFL Schedule Release Coverage

NFL Network and ESPN both will have three hours of coverage devoted to tonight's NFL regular-season schedule release. While some critics on Twitter mock this amount of coverage for an offseason event, others eagerly anticipate learning the schedule details.

SI's Richard Deitsch wrote, "I have zero issues with ESPN/NFLN doing multiple hour NFL schedule shows. In fact, I like it. It's legit news that impacts fans." MLBAM Club Initiatives Dir Josh Lukin: "I want to make fun of the fact that the NFL has a schedule release 3 hour TV special, but then realized that I can't wait to watch." ESPN's Colin Cowherd: "One of my favorite days---NFL schedule release. Dorksville, I know. I'm owning my baggage. Will break down every team tonite. Im pathetic." Detroit News columnist Bob Wojnowski: "NFL schedule comes out tonite. Sources have informed me the Lions will play eight home games and eight road games. Stay tuned."
