San Jose Planning Commission Votes Tonight On Earthquakes Stadium

The San Jose Planning Commission tonight is scheduled to vote on the MLS Earthquakes' appeal for a planned development permit that would let them build a $60M, roughly 18,000-seat stadium near Mineta San Jose Int'l Airport. The team "had been granted the permit last December" by San Jose Planning Dir Joe Horwedel, but area resident Nancy Thomas' Jan. 3 appeal "sent the matter to the seven-member planning commission" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/21).
