Charlotte Difference Makers Sports Fellowship: Chris Crenshaw

23XI Racing

At 23XI, Chris worked on a variety of projects, from helping plan and organize Bubba Wallace’s upcoming Live to Be Different school drive to working with the digital/social media team on Wallace’s Local Bites and 23XI Juneteenth video. He also assisted in the creation of various business decks, such as midyear reviews and Nielsen/Audience statistics to present to partners.

Fellowship organization: 23XI Racing

Best piece of advice this summer: That networking is key, especially in the sports industry.
Most satisfying aspect of the experience: Becoming a part of the company and the family at 23XI.
Most challenging aspect of transition from school to work: Just knowing how to go about things, asking certain questions, finish emails and getting used to the culture and environment in the workplace.
Class I wish I’d taken: More communication classes.
One word to describe the fellowship: Sensational.
Expected achievement after 10 years: To have made a significant impact wherever I am in terms of contributing to the organization.
