Michael Paull
CEO, BAMTech

Paull, who joined BAMTech from Amazon in February, oversees the critical relationship between the video streaming company and the NHL. As part of the 2015 deal in which the league turned over its digital operations to MLBAM, the NHL received a nearly 10 percent stake in BAMTech, a share now valued around $370 million. With BAMTech’s involvement in the planned ESPN streaming network, the NHL could see regular-season games appear on an ESPN-branded network for the first time since 2004.

Alex Faust
Television play-by-play announcer, Los Angeles Kings

The 27-year-old Brooklyn native replaces hall of famer and broadcaster Bob Miller, who retired this year after 44 years with the Kings. Faust had been a college football and basketball play-by-play commentator with ESPNU and Fox Sports, and has called college hockey for NBC Sports Network, NESN and Westwood One Radio. His first NHL game came in March for NBCSN.

Dan Lovinger
Executive vice president, advertising sales, NBC Sports Group

After succeeding longtime executive Seth Winter as head of ad sales for NBC Sports a year ago, Lovinger enters his first full season selling ads against the NHL in perhaps the network’s most jam-packed sports lineup. NBC finds itself in the envious position of airing both the Super Bowl and the Olympics this winter, which will give the NHL just eight nationally broadcast games on NBCSN in February, compared with 23 the previous year.
