Baseball
Little League International promoted Andrew Frederick to director of information services. Frederick replaces Barry Grove, who retired.

Scott Sonju, president of the Class AA Texas League’s Frisco RoughRiders, stepped down from his position.

MLB promoted Chris Marinak to executive vice president of league economics and strategy, Chris Park to executive vice president of global marketing and partnerships, Bryan Seeley to senior vice president of investigations and deputy general counsel, and Morgan Sword to senior vice president of league economics and strategy.

Basketball
The Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena named George Turner vice president of safety and security. Turner was police chief for the city of Atlanta.

The Sacramento Kings hired Ashley Oakes as corporate sales director. Oakes was corporate development and community partnerships manager for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Delaware North hired Frank Mendicino as executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Mendicino was president of strategic assets and chief strategy officer for Aramark. Delaware North Sportservice promoted Chris Angne to vice president of systems and standards and Charlie Millerwise to vice president of innovation and concepts.

Lucas Oil Stadium hired Eric Neuburger as stadium director. Neuburger was senior associate athletic director for facilities and external alliances at Indiana University.

Mohegan Sun hired Lynn Agnello as director of sponsorships. Agnello was audio sales manager for Skyview Networks.

Football
The Cleveland Browns promoted Greg Rush to vice president of finance, Bob Sivik to vice president of ticket sales and service, and Jenner Tekancic to vice president of community relations. The team named Nick Frasco senior director of corporate partnerships and suite sales.

The Miami Dolphins hired Surena Ebrahimi as director of corporate partnerships and Ben Bianchi as senior manager of corporate partnerships. Ebrahimi was director of partnership sales for International Speedway Corp., and Bianchi was an account executive for Fenway Sports Management.

Commissioner Jeffrey Orridge will leave the Canadian Football League, effective June 30.

Hockey
The Columbus Blue Jackets promoted Alexa Edwards to group sales event specialist and Jacob Welter and Joshua Latzko to season sales account executives, and hired Marc Gosselin as a corporate partnership account executive and Trent Gerhart as manager of premium sales.

The ECHL’s Worcester (Mass.) Railers hired Connor Haynes as account executive for tickets and memberships. Haynes was a sales associate of groups and partnerships for the American Hockey League’s Providence (R.I.) Bruins.

The Florida Panthers expanded the role of Dale Tallon, president of hockey operations, to general manager.

AEG and the Los Angeles Kings promoted Luc Robitaille to president, Rob Blake to vice president and general manager, and Mike Futa to assistant general manager.

Marketing
Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment hired John Cash as general manager at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association and Myra Davoudi as general manager at Santa Clara University.

GOFF
Mike Goff launched marketing and brand consulting company Goff & Marketing. Goff was executive vice president for Barkley.

Learfield hired John Finch as general manager at the University of Texas at Arlington. Finch replaces Josh White, who was named Learfield’ senior manager of business development at Southern Methodist University. Learfield also named Joe Domingos general manager at the University of North Texas.

Media
Active Network promoted Dana Jones to chief executive officer. Darko Dejanovic will shift to executive chairman and will continue to serve on the board of directors.

GoVision hired Jackson Hart and Anderson Terry as LED screen technicians and Michael Ouille as facilities manager.

Nielsen Sports promoted John Pugh to manager of commercial solutions and hired Steven Bell and Chris Ziegler as directors of commercial solutions. Bell was director of corporate partnerships at the University of Washington, and Ziegler was director of corporate partnerships for the Charlotte Hornets.

Like a Pro named Anne Zilvitis an athlete relations manager.

Motorsports
Competent Motorsport named Steven Costello series director for the all-Porsche, multi-class championship.

Multiteam Companies
The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans hired Matt Webb as executive director of corporate partnerships. Webb was senior director of corporate partnerships for sales and strategy for the Cleveland Browns.

Olympics
The IOC named Rebecca Lowell Edwards as strategic communications director. Edwards was chief communications officer for GE Oil & Gas.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Academy Sports & Outdoors hired Sam Johnson as executive vice president of retail operations. Johnson was chief retail officer for HHGregg.

Ticketing
SeatGeek hired Alex Hamilton as director of ticket operations. Hamilton was director of ticket operations for the New Orleans Pelicans and Saints.

TicketIQ promoted Skip Connors to chief executive officer. Connors succeeds Jesse Lawrence, who will continue to lead strategic industry partnerships.

Ticketmaster hired Greg Economou as head of sports for North America and chief commercial officer. Economou was executive vice president and chief revenue officer for Dick Clark Productions.

Bill Nielsen, Fan Manager senior vice president of sales, left the company.

The McGowan Professional Athletes and Entertainers Insurance Solutions Practice hired Diauntae Morrow as a client consultant.

Executive search firm Nolan Partners promoted Ed Marsden to performance consultant and hired Dominic Craven as a researcher.

Tailgate Guys hired Chip Howard as chief operating officer. Howard was executive associate athletic director for internal affairs at the University of Florida.

Varsity Brands named Adam Blumenfeld chief executive officer. Blumenfeld was chief executive officer for Varsity Brands’ BSN Sports division.
