Sports business influencers and decision-makers gathered in Dana Point, Calif., for the CAA World Congress of Sports. On Tuesday night, SportsBusiness Journal/Daily and CAA Sports hosted a VIP/Speaker Reception at Club 19 at the Monarch Beach Resort to kick off the event. On Wednesday, members of the 2017 class of Champions received their awards, offered stories from their careers in sports and shared their thoughts on the most pressing issues facing sports business today.
