The Class AAA Pacific Coast League’s New Orleans Baby Cakes named Kyle Guille and Daniel Straney senior account executives, Pierce Comeaux account executive, Kristin Rojas corporate partnership executive, Alex Knudson administrative assistant, Bob Moullette merchandise coordinator and Chris Peters director of sales. Trevor Johnson was hired as a corporate partnership executive and Alex Rankin as box office manager.

The Class AA Southern League’s Pensacola (Fla.) Blue Wahoos named Donna Kirby vice president of operations, Patrick Foley vice president of sales, Candice Miller human resources director, Tanner Tucker corporate sales executive, Tommy To sales executive and Ben Fultz sales executive for community relations.

Basketball
The Houston Rockets hired Sebastian Park as director of esports development. Park was chief executive officer for Team Archon.

Colleges
Georgia Tech hired Mark Rountree as deputy athletic director. Rountree was athletic director at Portland State University.

Liberty University hired Ian McCaw as athletic director. McCaw was formerly athletic director at Baylor University.

The University of Northern Iowa hired Nathan Christensen as assistant athletic director for development and director of the Panther Scholarship Club. Christensen was assistant athletic director for external operations at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Grambling State University hired Paul Bryant as athletic director, effective Jan. 1. Bryant was athletic director at South Carolina State University.

Football
The National Football League Referees Association named Scott Green executive director. Green replaces Jim Quirk, who is retiring.

Hockey
The Tampa Bay Lightning hired Savannah Deisering as partnership activation manager and Madeline Hooper and Dan Williams as partnership activation account executives.

Horse Racing
The National Thoroughbred Racing Association hired Holly Short as digital marketing manager.

Marketing
CSE hired Greg Grantham as creative director and Stefanie Stephens as a senior account executive.

Fox Run Group hired Haydon White as an account manager of alumni partnerships for the Penn State Alumni Association. White was an account executive for the American Hockey League’s Binghamton (N.Y.) Senators.

Richard Childress Racing hired Sammy Johns as operations director. Johns was vice president of operations for Richard Petty Motorsports.

Soccer
The Los Angeles Galaxy named Pete Vagenas general manager. Vagenas will retain his position as the team’s vice president of soccer operations.

Other
3 Point Productions hired Derrick Gomez as production manager. Gomez was coordinator of content and business operations for the NBA.

Awards and Boards
The U.S. Olympic Committee named Peter Johnson, Stack Media vice chairman and chief operating officer, to the Paralympic Advisory Committee.

Canadian Sport Institute Ontario named Curt Harnett, Jessica Catton Rinaldi and Nancy Spotton to its board of directors.
