Baseball
The Boston Red Sox promoted Jared Banner to vice president of player personnel, Ben Crockett to vice president of player development, Gus Quattlebaum to vice president of pro scouting, Mike Rikard to vice president of amateur scouting and Zak Scott to vice president of baseball research and development. The team named Brian Bannister vice president of pitching development and assistant pitching coach, Frank Wren senior vice president of player personnel and Laz Gutierrez major league mental skills coordinator and promoted Mike Regan to assistant director of baseball administration, Brad Pearson to head athletic director of sports medicine, and Jon Jochim to assistant athletic trainer.  
 
The Philadelphia Phillies named Bryan Minniti and Jorge Velandia special assistants to the general manager, Geoff Miller mental skills coach and Natan Weinberger as analyst of baseball research and development. The team named Greg McMillin coordinator of international scouting, Ray Robles assistant director of international operations and Elvis Fernandez as manager of Dominican Academy operations.  
 
The San Diego Padres promoted Erik Greupner to chief operating officer. Greupner was executive vice president of business administration and general counsel. 

The Arizona Diamondbacks named Jared Porter senior vice president and assistant general manager. Porter was Chicago Cubs director of pro scouting. The team also promoted Josh Barfield to assistant director of professional scouting and Mike Bell to vice president of player development.

Little League named Kevin Fountain director of media relations, Rudy Mezzy multimedia producer and editor, Tammy Smith digital media coordinator, Leah Blasko communications coordinator and Kevin Feinberg marketing coordinator.  
 
The Tampa Bay Rays promoted Erik Neander to senior vice president of baseball operations and general manager, Chaim Bloom to senior vice president of baseball operations and James Click to vice president of baseball operations. Rick Vaughn resigned as communications vice president. 

The Detroit Tigers named Mike Russell special assistant to general manager Al Avila. Russell was Arizona Diamondbacks special assistant in baseball operations.  
 
The St. Louis Cardinals promoted Jared Odom to manager of pro scouting and named Matt Bayer amateur baseball analyst.

The Class AA Southern League’s Biloxi (Miss.) Shuckers named Hunter Reed assistant general manager, Dani Polen sales and marketing coordinator, Will Lairamore head groundskeeper, Glenn Thompson assistant head groundskeeper and Jenifer Truong community relations and promotions coordinator.

The Class AA Texas League’s Corpus Christi (Texas) Hooks named Diana Sleep and Zach Kastelic partnership activation coordinators.
 
Colleges
Providence College promoted Kyle Murphy to associate athletic director for men’s and women’s hockey and Schneider Arena and named Theresa Feaster coordinator of men’s ice hockey operations.  
 
Columbia University named Erica Aresco associate athletic director and chief financial officer. Aresco was financial manager at The Washington Post.  
 
University of South Carolina Aiken Athletic Director Randy Warrick will step down May 31.
 
Combat Sports
Alliance MMA named Jim Platek director of investor relations.
 
UFC promoted Lenee Breckenridge to vice president of communications.

Meis Architects promoted Serena Davis to director of business development.

Prometheus Capital and Club 9 Sports promoted Jim Roche to vice president.
 
Hockey
The American Hockey League’s Belleville (Ontario) Senators named Rob Mullowney chief operating officer. Mullowney was vice president of operations for the St. John’s IceCaps.  
 
Marketing
United World Sports promoted Jon Hinkin to tournament director of HSBC Sevens Rugby Series Las Vegas.
 
WME-IMG named Wade Martin, Todd Parker and Jesse Ryback vice presidents of naming rights, Justin Acker senior director of naming rights and Erik Rask director of naming rights.

Anheuser-Busch InBev named Marcel Marcondes U.S. vice president of marketing.
 
Like A Pro named Jonathan Ressler president.

MSG Networks named Kevin Marotta senior vice president of marketing and content strategy and promoted Melissa Karten vice president of marketing. Marotta was vice president of client partnerships for LeadDog Marketing. 

Fox Sports promoted Whit Haskel to senior vice president of brand marketing.

The New York Red Bulls II named Jamie Ponce director of business operations. Ponce was director of sales service and ticket operations for the Red Bulls.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Callaway Golf named Hideyuki “Rock” Ishii senior director of advanced golf ball research. Ishii was senior director of innovation for golf balls at Nike.
 
Performance Sports Group named Dan Sills executive vice president of hockey, Mike Thorne executive vice president of baseball and softball, and Jennifer Hughey senior vice president of supply chain.
 
Other

BYERS
The American Cancer Society named Sharon Byers chief development and marketing officer. Byers was senior vice president of sports, entertainment and community marketing partnerships for North America for The Coca-Cola Co. through early 2015.
 
AEG named Dan Lyle director of rugby. Lyle was executive vice president of sponsorships for United World Sports.
 
Awards and Boards
The board of the European Tour named Paul McGinley non-executive director.

FanCompass named Andy Dolich to the board of directors and Zain Khan, Keith Bruce, James Lavelle and David LaPlaca to the advisory board.
