Baseball
The Arizona Diamondbacks named Amiel Sawdaye senior vice president and assistant general manager. Sawdaye was vice president of amateur and international scouting for the Boston Red Sox.
 
The Boston Red Sox promoted Eddie Romero to senior vice president and assistant general manager.
 
The Chicago White Sox named Chris Getz director of player development. Getz was the Kansas City Royals’ baseball operations assistant in player development.
 
Basketball
The Atlanta Hawks promoted Thad Sheely to chief operating officer of the Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena, David Lee to executive vice president of external affairs and executive director of the Atlanta Hawks Foundation and Nzinga Shaw to senior vice president of community in addition to her duties as chief diversity and inclusion officer. The team also named Brett Stefansson executive vice president and general manager of Philips Arena.

Colleges

CAUDILL
Muskingum University named Tom Caudill athletics communication director and assistant professor of athletics communications.
 
The College of Charleston named Matt Roberts athletic director, effective Jan. 1. Roberts is deputy athletic director at Southern Methodist University.  
 
The University of Mississippi named Ross Bjork vice chancellor for intercollegiate athletics. Bjork remains athletic director at the school.  
 
The University of Pennsylvania named Kevin Bonner associate athletic director for administration and strategic communications. Bonner was associate athletic director at La Salle University.  
 
Facilities
Richmond International Raceway named James Hall Jr. director of ticket sales and guest services.

Golf
Ping President and Chief Operating Officer Doug Hawken announced his retirement, effective Jan. 31.

The Aspire Group promoted Anaclaudia Cervantes to manager of new business sales and Ed Dillon to manager of service and retention at Army and hired Marcus Myrick as director of new ticket sales at the National Sales Center, Lohren Stitt as ticket sales and service consultant at Colorado State, and Ariel St. Paul and Mary Katie Walch as ticket sales and service

Collegiate Sports Management Group promoted Adam Lebowitz to marketing manager.

Eiger Marketing Group named Jennifer Tierney account director. Tierney was an account manager at Octagon.
 
Learfield named Matt Mendes general manager at Cal Poly and Mark Hamlin general manager at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Mendes was manager of corporate development for the Sacramento Kings, and Hamlin was sales manager at Anchorage Convention Centers for SMG of Alaska. 

WME-IMG named Michael Ma chief executive of its WME-IMG China subsidiary. Ma was special assistant to the CEO in China for the NBA.

CBS Radio named Brian McHale senior vice president of information technology. McHale was American Apparel senior vice president and chief information officer.  
 
Bigballs Media named Marc Horine general manager of the Americas for Copa90. Horine was vice president of digital revenue and operations for ESPN.

MP & Silva named Jochen Losch chief executive officer. Losch was president of international business for Traffic Sports Marketing.  

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Reebok named Thomas Steinbruck creative director.
