In The Office: The Star — Frisco, Texas

The Ford Center at The Star provided the backdrop for the official ribbon cutting.

The Star in Frisco, the new world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys, opened late last month with a ribbon cutting presided over by team owner Jerry Jones. The complex, which is planned as a $1.5 billion, 91-acre mixed-use development, includes the Ford Center, a 12,000-seat indoor stadium and training facililty. Coming next year: a 16-story Omni hotel. The finishing touches are being put on the six-story, nearly 400,000-square-foot office building known as One Cowboys Way, which will house the team’s executives and companies leasing space such as Bank of America. Gensler was the project architect. Manhattan Construction, the primary builder for the Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, is the general contractor.
