Moser, head of the firm’s sports group, was responsible for the massive redevelopment of Daytona International Speedway, a three-year project completed in January. But there’s no rest for the weary, as the firm has three major league projects targeted for 2017 openings. Barton Malow is among a team of four builders constructing SunTrust Park, the Atlanta Braves’ new stadium, and in Michigan, the company’s corporate headquarters, it’s building the Detroit Red Wings’ new arena. The third project is Orlando City SC’s new MLS stadium, where Barton Malow is the general contractor. The company’s Michigan ties extend to its work on the redevelopment of Tigertown, the Detroit Tigers’ spring training home in Lakeland, Fla.
