HKS has become the go-to firm for designing NFL stadiums over the past 12 years, in large part because of the marketing efforts of Trubey and Williams. The Dallas firm’s newest project is the Los Angeles Rams’ $2.5 billion palace planned for a 2019 opening in Inglewood. The development follows HKS-designed stadiums for the Colts and Cowboys, and for the new Vikings stadium that is to open this year. The company’s NFL-related work extends to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio. In its home state of Texas, HKS is working on renovations to American Airlines Center and Toyota Park, and in the college space, it recently completed renovations at TCU’s Schollmaier Arena and is working on Rice University’s Patterson Performance Center.
