SportsBusiness Journal/Daily is pleased to unveil our 2016 list of the 40 executives who will be recognized for excellence and innovation in their careers, all before the age of 40.

From a field of more than 500 initial candidates, this group of 40 stood out this year. Among them, there are 37 people we’re recognizing for the first time. They’re joined by three individuals who are now two-time honorees: Chris Marinak (who was previously recognized in 2015), David Greenspan (2014) and Connor Schell (2012).

All 40 executives will be featured in the April 4 issue of SportsBusiness Journal, where the stories of their career paths and successes will be shared. They also will be honored at our annual Forty Under 40 gala, April 14 at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live. That event comes at the conclusion of our annual CAA World Congress of Sports, April 13-14.

This year marks our 17th year for Forty Under 40. Click here to see last year’s class.
