The Tampa Bay Rays promoted Peter Bendix to director of baseball development, Shawn Hoffman to director of scouting analytics, Kevin Ibach to director of pro scouting, Josh Kalk to director of pitching research and development, and Brian Plexico to director of baseball systems.

The Baltimore Orioles hired Jeremy Kapstein as a consultant to the general manager. Kapstein was senior adviser of baseball projects for the Boston Red Sox.

BEAHM
The Pittsburgh Penguins hired Devin Beahm as account manager for partnership marketing. Beahm was an account executive for Momentum Worldwide.

Marketing
Performance Sports Group hired Mark Vendetti as chief financial officer.

Ad agency Barkley hired Mike Goff as executive vice president of account leadership. Goff was president of Premier Sports Management.

Barbara Emener Karasek, partner and executive vice president of client leadership at Burdette Ketchum, left to purse new opportunities.

FLYNN
The Aspire Group promoted Howard Ticker to manager of sales and service and Mark DeBoy to team leader of service at the University of Maryland, and hired Chris Flynn as manager of group and new ticket sales at Georgia Tech, Jeffrey Teplitsky as sales consultant at Canisius College, Nathaniel Nieffer as sales consultant at Siena College, Sloan Blunting as coordinator of sales and service at the University of Texas and Nikolas Kessler as sales consultant at the University of California, Irvine.

Octagon promoted Tuck Burch and Ian Hall to senior vice presidents and Marianne Rotole and Michael Ryan to vice presidents.

LANE
Advantage International hired John Lane to lead business development.

Media
Horizon Media senior vice president of research Brad Adgate left the agency.

Lagardère Sports hired Carmine Tiso as director of U.S. communications. Tiso was vice president of communications for MSG Sports.

Madison Square Garden Networks promoted Eric Shih to vice president of business strategy and development.

XOS Digital hired Anthony Flynn as director of baseball product marketing and sales. Flynn was director of major league video services for the New York Yankees.

Multiteam Companies
Tampa Bay Sports and Entertainment hired Kevin Preast as senior vice president of event management. Preast was vice president of arena marketing and business development for Philips Arena.

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment promoted Tom Bowden to executive director of ticket sales and service, and hired John Gassner as senior vice president of global partnerships for Barclays Center, the Nets, the Islanders and Nassau Coliseum; Kate Girotti as vice president of marketing for Barclays Center and Nassau Coliseum; and Mike Lahaie as vice president of premium partnerships for Barclays Center, the Nets and the Islanders.

Olympics
The Canadian Olympic Committee promoted Tricia Smith to president.

The International Olympic Committee hired Tommy O’Hare as the Olympic Channel’s head of digital strategy.

Soccer
The Philadelphia Union promoted Shaun Gallagher to senior account executive, and Talen Energy Stadium promoted Kate Bielunas to marketing manager, effective Jan. 1. Bielunas was office administrator.
 
The North American Soccer League’s Minnesota United FC hired Manny Lagos as sporting director.

Los Angeles Football Club hired John Thorrington as executive vice president of soccer operations. Thorrington was special assistant to the executive director of the Major League Soccer Players Union.
 
Sporting Goods and Apparel
Fanatics hired Paul Asencio as vice president of venue development. Ascencio was a corporate sales executive for the New York Mets.

Tennis
The All England Tennis Club hired Paul Davies as head of broadcast and production. Davies was lead executive producer for the BBC.
 
Dave Miley stepped down as International Tennis Federation executive director of tennis development.

Other

The Atlanta Track Club hired Jay Holder as director of marketing and communications.

Nature’s Bakery hired Tyler Key as sponsorship marketing manager. Key was senior director of marketing for Michael Waltrip Racing.

Young’s Market Co. promoted Bonner Paddock to senior vice president of community outreach.

Turnkey Intelligence hired Seif Osman as senior director of research and Demi Staluppi as manager of client services. Turnkey Search hired Kyle Brown as recruiting associate.

Coca-Cola named Hendrik Steckhan president of U.S. operations, Stuart Kronauge to lead brand marketing and Ivan Pollard to lead strategy marketing. Wendy Clark, president of sparkling brands and strategic marketing in North America, is leaving to join DDB Worldwide as president and chief executive officer of North America.
