The MLBPA has long been known as the strongest players union, as MLB remains the only league without a salary cap. This year, Clark, a former All-Star who was elected MLBPA executive director in 2013, will lead the players in negotiations for a new labor deal. The old deal expires Dec. 1, 2016.
