Patriots are buzz champs, too

The New England Patriots were the hottest NFL team in social media circles during training camp this year. According to data compiled by San Diego-based Hookit, the Super Bowl champions topped the list of the 15 most buzzed-about teams in terms of social media interactions between Aug. 7 and Aug. 30. The company counts interactions as the combined number of likes, comments, shares and retweets across a team’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
