Baseball
MLB promoted Chris Park to senior vice president of growth, strategy and international, and Jim Small to vice president of Asia Pacific. John McHale Jr. was named a special assistant to the commissioner.

Colleges
The Collegiate Water Polo Association hired Kevin Mahon as director of multimedia. Mahon was a Web and creative services assistant for the Class A Advanced Carolina League’s Wilmington Blue Rocks.

Fairfield University hired Zach Dayton as associate athletic director for sports marketing and communications. Dayton was assistant athletic director for external operations for Pace University.

The University of Houston named Brooke Smoley assistant athletic director for ticket sales and operations, and hired Bobby Cash as director of ticket operations. Cash was coordinator of ticket operations for Middle Tennessee State University.

Wichita State University promoted Eric Sexton to vice president for student affairs and executive director of athletics and Darron Boatright to deputy athletic director and chief operating officer.

Langston University Athletic Director Mike Garrett resigned.

Learfield Sports promoted Matt Gamewell to vice president of national sales and hired Scott Malaga as senior director of national sales for the Midwest. Malaga was senior vice president of business development for MKTG.

Outfront Media Sports hired Kevin Burke as director of sales and Kevin Wagner as senior account executive for LSU Sports Properties.

Media
Layer3 TV named Lynne Costantini and Sean Riley to its content advisory board.

SB Nation hired Elena Bergeron as senior editor. Bergeron was editor-in-chief for TriangleOffense.com.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Marucci Sports named Chuck Schupp MLB player relations representative. Schupp was professional baseball sales director for Louisville Slugger.
