Baseball
The Chicago Cubs established a new mental skills program and named sports psychologist Dr. Ken Ravizza a consultant, Josh Lifrak director, Darnell McDonald coordinator and Rey Fuentes Latin coordinator.

Basketball
Pacers Sports and Entertainment hired Mel Raines as senior vice president of facilities operations. Raines was chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Susan Brooks.

The Miami Heat hired Vered Yakovee as vice president and associate general counsel. Yakovee was associate team counsel for the Boston Celtics.

Colleges
The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics promoted Jason Galaska to associate executive director of administration and Noreen Byrne to associate executive director of finance.

Amherst College named Don Faulstick athletic director. Faulstick was interim director and associate athletic director before that.

Miami University promoted Liz Bath to assistant athletic director for business operations and Patrick Ransdell to associate director of development and assistant athletic director.

Temple University hired Pete Cautilli as senior associate athletic director for development. Cautilli was director of athletics and campus recreation at Laramie County (Wyo.) Community College.

The University of the District of Columbia hired Jason Imperati as associate athletic director for internal operations. Imperati was athletics compliance officer for New York Institute of Technology.

Facilities
Global Spectrum at PPL Park named Melanie Henkes director of event services, Ryan Hemenway director of stadium operations and Will Wister marketing manager.

Legends promoted Mike Ondrejko to president of global sales, Chad Estis to executive vice president and Michael Bekolay to chief operating officer of the hospitality group.

The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority named Scott McKibben executive director. McKibben will continue to serve as chief executive officer and commissioner for the A11 Football League.

Watkins Glen International hired Chris Banker as public relations manager. Banker was manager of communications for New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Football
The New Orleans Saints hired Fitz Ollison as senior director of football communications. Ollison was senior director of communications for the Miami Dolphins.

The San Francisco 49ers hired Craig Martin as manager of partnership sales for the team and Levi’s Stadium. Martin was a corporate sales manager for Palace Sports & Entertainment.

The Tennessee Titans promoted Stuart Spears to chief revenue officer and hired Bob Flynn as head of facilities and game-day operations. Flynn was senior director of corporate partnerships for the Nashville Predators. Don MacLachlan resigned from his position as executive vice president of administration and facilities.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl Committee named Carey Wicker III president, Charles Lapeyre president-elect, Stanley Cohn vice president, Roderick West treasurer and Monique Morial secretary. Former Sugar Bowl president Jay Batt was elected chairman of the executive committee and Walter Becker, Richard Briede and Scott Duggins were named to the committee.

Hockey
The Los Angeles Kings named AnnMarie Francis a human resources assistant.

CORNWELL
Law
Barnes & Thornburg LLP hired sports attorney David Cornwell as a partner in the firm’s litigation department and entertainment, music, media and sports practice group. Cornwell was a partner at Gordon & Rees LLP.

Marketing
Team One promoted Abby Jacobs to account executive and Carly Campbell to assistant account executive.

Media
Root Sports Southwest hired David Peart as general manager. Peart was senior vice president of sales and service for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Soccer
The LA Galaxy named Vanessa Manning manager of game presentation and events. Manning worked in game presentation and events for the Los Angeles Kings.

The Philadelphia Union hired Chris Winkler as press officer, Kyrsten Kamlowsky and Ethan Jones as account executives and Jonathan Pelc as an artist/editor of motion graphics. The team named Ashley Dabb vice president of marketing and communications and Kacy Harmon senior director of ticketing.

Other
Herschend Family Entertainment Corp., parent company of the Harlem Globetrotters, named Karl Mawhinney vice president of global partnership marketing.
