It’s not been a good year for Goodell, at least PR wise, given his poor response to Ray Rice and stiff public persona. But the league’s business continues to surge ahead, with revenue set to surpass $11 billion this year. He still has the support of his bosses, the owners, and can now really show his influence as the league moves ahead in the post-Rice/Adrian Peterson era.
