People: Executive transactions

Basketball
The Atlanta Hawks promoted Phil Ebinger and Scott Wilkinson to executive vice presidents and Ailey Penningroth to senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

The Cleveland Cavaliers promoted Nic Barlage to vice president of ticket sales and services.

The Golden State Warriors named Chip Bowers chief marketing officer. Bowers was senior vice president of corporate partnerships and marketing for the Orlando Magic.

The Orlando Magic hired Rob Hennigan as general manager. Hennigan was assistant general manager and player personnel director for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Colleges
Notre Dame College named Scott Swain athletic director. Swain was an assistant director in the athletic department at the University of Tennessee.

Seattle University hired Nick Peterson as assistant athletic director for corporate partnerships.

Towson University named Colleen Sorem associate athletic director for business and finance. Sorem was associate athletic director for business operations at Florida Gulf Coast University.

The University at Buffalo hired Allen Greene as senior associate athletic director for administration. Greene was assistant athletic director for development and priority seating at the University of Mississippi.

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro hired Matt McCollester as director of media relations. McCollester was an assistant director of athletics media relations at Ball State University.

The University of Miami (Fla.) hired Jennifer Strawley as senior associate athletic director for administration and student excellence and senior woman administrator and Erin Moran as assistant compliance director for student services. Strawley was director of academic and membership affairs for the NCAA.

The University of Texas named Kathy Harston senior associate athletic director for women’s sports programs. Harston was director of women’s basketball operations at the University of Tennessee.

Brigham Young University named Mark Atuaia an assistant to the athletic director for student services. Atuaia was the assistant to the dean of student life at BYU.

Lamar University promoted Jason Henderson to athletic director.

Western Illinois University hired Matt Tanney as associate athletic director. Tanney was director of compliance at the University of Oklahoma.

Football
The Oakland Raiders named Erin Exum media relations coordinator, Jeff Gilbert equipment assistant, Adam Johnson equipment assistant, George Li football operations statistical analyst and Greg Reuveni video assistant.

Hockey
The Columbus Blue Jackets named Carl Manteau director of group sales; Heather Westbrook corporate development account executive; Molly Taylor partnership account specialist; Alexander Karp CRM coordinator; and Tim McDonough, Cody Johnson, Sean Tobin, Emily Dugal, Michelle Furr, Katie Massey and Taylor Ely inside sales representatives.

The Dallas Stars hired Bob Bassen as director of the alumni association and business development and Matt Bowman as vice president of ticket sales.

Callaway Golf named Harry Arnett senior vice president of global marketing. Also, Steve McCracken, senior executive vice president and chief legal officer, and Jeff Colton, senior vice president of global brand and product, are no longer with the company.

Tennis
The International Tennis Hall of Fame hired Brewer Rowe as director of special events and assistant tournament director. Rowe was executive vice president for Eident Sports.

Raclin
Turnkey Intelligence hired Curran Raclin as vice president for Turnkey Prospector. Raclin was senior operations analyst for the Boston Red Sox.

XOS Digital hired Shawn Adams as director of strategic digital partnerships for the West Coast, Jonathan Kudla as director of strategic digital partnerships for the Greater Atlanta area and Cam Pepper as director of strategic digital partnerships for Detroit and Chicago, and will be responsible for representing the XOS Digital Sports Network.

America’s Cup named to its advisory board Jay Cross, Related Hudson Yards president; Geoffrey Mason, ESPN senior production specialist; Harvey Schiller, GlobalOptions Group chairman and chief executive officer; Peter Ueberroth, The Contrarian Group chairman; and Casey Wasserman, Wasserman Media Group chairman and chief executive officer.

Racecourse Media Group named Roger Lewis, Welsh Rugby Union group chief executive, a non-executive director.

The USA Track and Field Foundation named Victoria Chapus to its board of directors.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research named Constance Skidmore to its board of directors.
