Jerry Jacobs Jr. can look out from his office on the top floor of a 13-story building in downtown Buffalo and see the waves crashing over Niagara Falls. Inside, Jacobs’ work space overflows with memorabilia he has collected over the years at 97-year-old Delaware North Cos.

Delaware North’s Sportservice runs food and retail operations for more than two dozen major league teams, and Delaware North corporate owns and operates the Boston Bruins and TD Garden, so sports takes center stage. But Jacobs also displays items representing the company’s parks and resorts group, which includes accounts such as the Kennedy Space Center.

Some of his most prized possessions are not in public view to prevent sunlight from fading autographed photos. “All the good stuff is hanging in the bathroom,” Jacobs laughs.
