What I Like About …

My job: Feeling the passion of the people who work around me every day.

■ Sports: It is the greatest form of reality TV.

Sports media: The ability to get instant information.

Sports technology: Skycam, the robotic camera that runs on a cable used for national TV broadcasts.

Competing: I liked it as a player and now, in my role today, I still love the thrill of competition.

Pet peeve: People who don’t offer solutions.

In business: Dishonesty.

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
