Baseball
The Arizona Diamondbacks named Josh Rawitch senior vice president of communications. Rawitch was vice president of communications for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Farnsworth
The San Diego Padres hired Sarah Farnsworth as senior vice president of public affairs. Farnsworth was deputy assistant secretary of defense for community and public outreach for the U.S. Department of Defense.

The Atlanta Braves expanded the role of assistant general manager Bruce Manno to oversee the player development department and promoted Ronnie Richardson to director of minor league operations and John Coppolella to director of professional scouting.

The Chicago Cubs hired Julian Green as vice president of communications and community affairs. Green was director of media relations for MillerCoors.

Basketball
The Utah Jazz hired Rich Sheubrooks as executive director of global and pro scouting. Sheubrooks was director of global scouting for the Charlotte Bobcats.

Colleges
The Big West Conference named Rob Halvaks deputy commissioner, Jody McRobert senior associate commissioner and senior woman administrator, Erica Monteabaro associate commissioner for compliance and governance, Mike Daniels associate commissioner for championships and marketing, Mike Villamor assistant commissioner for external affairs, Beth Holtermann director of business services, Julie St. Cyr director of communications, Steve Chen director of new media, Chris Hargraves assistant director of championships and Melissa Swaffer assistant director of compliance.

Koesters
Ballouli

The University of South Carolina Department of Sport and Entertainment Management hired Khalid Ballouli and Todd Koesters as assistant professors and Adonis “Sporty” Jeralds as a clinical instructor.

Kennesaw State University hired Heath Senour as associate athletic director for compliance and Katie Egloff as assistant athletic director for championships and events. Senour was associate director of athletic compliance at the University of Minnesota, and Egloff was an event management assistant at the University of Connecticut.

Facilities
New Meadowlands Racetrack hired Mike Newlin as general manager, Gerald Wiemann as director of finance and Mona Vaccarella as director of human resources.

Hockey
The National Hockey League Players’ Association named Don Zavelo general counsel. Zavelo was the deputy regional attorney for the National Labor Relations Board’s New York office.

Marketing

Marsh
JP Sports & Entertainment hired Kevin Marsh as senior manager of sales and marketing. Marsh was coach of the men’s and women’s golf programs at Nova Southeastern University.

Multiteam Companies
Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment promoted Jordan Vader to director of corporate sales for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors, Air Canada Centre and Live Nation Canada; Chris Shewfelt to director of corporate partnerships for Toronto FC; Matt Godin to manager of corporate partnership marketing; Bryce Eldridge to sales analyst for corporate partnership sales; and Stephanie Hill and Alexandra Ashton to account executives for corporate partnership marketing.

Soccer
FIFA hired Walter De Gregorio as director of communications and public affairs.

Adidas India named Tushar Goculdas brand director.

The Atlanta Sports Council hired Christina Tedcastle as manager of business development and events.

The WWE promoted Michael Luisi to president of WWE Studios.

The Aspen Skiing Co. named Susan Cross manager for Buttermilk Mountain.
