COACHES/MANAGERS: England rugby head coach EDDIE JONES signed a two-year contract extension to stay in the role until '21. The Rugby Football Union board "also agreed a process for finding Jones' successor," which is "likely to involve" the appointment of a new head coach by the end of the '19-20 season (BBC, 1/17). ... Top14 side Stade Français coach GREG COOPER will "step down" after the team's next game, the club said on Tuesday. The former All Black, who became head coach this season, will be replaced by OLIVIER AZAM and JULIEN DUPUY (REUTERS, 1/16). ... FA of Ireland CEO JOHN DELANEY said that MARTIN O'NEILL "will sign his new contract to extend his stay as Ireland manager next week."
