Shanghai Government Plans To Build More Pro Football Stadiums By '35

The Municipal Government of Shanghai published its city plan for the '17-35 period, according to YUTANG. In the sixth chapter of the plan, the government stated its goal of constructing more professional sports stadiums in the city by '35. Another goal emphasized by the government is that there "should be" five to 10 professional football stadiums in the city by '35. Currently, Shanghai has two "famous" professional football stadiums, Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua's home stadium Hongkou Football Stadium and SIPG's Shanghai Stadium (YUTANG, 1/10).
