Marketplace Roundup: Chinese Super League Renews Deal With DHL

The Chinese Super League agreed to a three-year renewal of its sponsorship deal with DHL. The global logistics firm, which has been associated with the competition since '14, will continue its support from '18-20. As a second-tier official partner, DHL will retain a range of pitchside and in-venue branding rights (SOCCEREX, 1/9).

League One side Shrewsbury Town secured a sleeve sponsor for the first time. MusicMagpie partnered with the club and will see its logo featured on the left sleeve of the club's kits during the FA Cup match against West Ham (SHROPSHIRE STAR, 1/6).

League Championship side Leeds United secured its first ever sleeve sponsor for its FA Cup matches ahead of its match against Newport County. The club partnered with Leeds-based work-space interiors specialist Southerns (Leeds United). 

Endeavor Global Marketing announced an agreement to acquire marketing firm 160over90, whose clients span professional sports teams and leagues, higher education institutions and consumer brands, including Ferrari, the NFL Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles, Texas A&M University, University of Virginia, UCLA and Under Armour (Endeavor). 

German cycling organization Team Sunweb partnered with Samsung Electronics through '20. The partnership will produce a variety of photo and video footage (Team Sunweb). 

Cricket Australia and MILO will end their junior participation partnership at the end of the '17-18 season. Since '92, MILO has supported CA in delivering junior participation programs (CA).
