Plymouth Argyle Will Be Most Expensive Club To Follow Over Holidays

League One club Plymouth Argyle fans "will pay more to follow their side over the Christmas period than supporters of any other league team," a new survey revealed, according to the London TELEGRAPH. Argyle supporters will have to "fork out" a total of £468.43 ($627.33) to follow their team for its league fixtures at MK Dons on Dec. 26 and Blackpool on Dec. 30, research carried out by the Football Supporters' Federation found. Man City fans "will have to spend the most of any supporters of Premier League clubs," at a cost of £383.63 ($513.76) to attend their side's matches at Newcastle and Crystal Palace. The average cost for a Premier League fan will be £182.08 ($243.84), with Chelsea fans "having to hand over the least money" -- £54.63 ($73.16) to watch their team at Arsenal on Jan. 3. Supporters across the leagues will have to "fork out" an average of £171.37 ($229.50) (TELEGRAPH, 12/20).
