Former Formula 1 world champion NICO ROSBERG revealed he is "definitely interested" in being the "latest big name to get involved with Formula E." The German driver retired after winning the title with Mercedes in '16, but has "remained involved in the sport" as an agent via his client, ROBERT KUBICA. Rosberg said, "I'm open to explore so let's see what the possibilities are" (London TELEGRAPH, 12/2). ... Rugby league players JASON TAUMALOLO and TUIMOALA LOLOHEA "have been gifted land in Tonga" in honor of "Mate Ma'a's Rugby League World Cup rise." Auckland-born Taumalolo, who chose to play for Tonga after 10 tests with the Kiwis, "was given some land in his mother's village" (STUFF, 12/3). ... Former Australian Football League side Richmond player BEN LENNON "will leave the AFL behind and pursue a career in the NFL." Lennon has "turned his attention to becoming a punter." The 22-year-old joins former AFL club St. Kilda footballer ARRYN SIPOSS in "setting his sights on the NFL" (HERALD SUN, 12/2).
